ONE DAY RETREAT: At the end of the Summer and before the rhythm of Autumn begins again this will be a breathing space, a time of centering, renewal and refreshment in quiet and in nature to bring you home to what matters most.
For those of you who have already participated in Mindfulness training this retreat will refresh and deepen your practice. For people who are new this will give you a good foundation in the practices of Mindfulness and Centering. In the middle of our 'hard and frantic world' this will be a soft, quiet space to support you in coming home to the centre of your being and re-connect you to your innate sense of wonder, tenderness and compassionate towards yourself and the world around you.
We will spend the day in a spirit of silence, but there will be points throughout the day to break your silence if you wish to.
During the day, you will be guided through a variety of mindfulness meditations from the body scan, sitting meditation, walking meditation and mindful movement and also some meditations using the senses, such as sight, sound and touch.

Please Note: This retreat is designed primarily for people who have some experience of mindfulness meditation. However, it may also be a good introduction for people who are seriously considering participating in M.B.S.R. (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) training in the future.
